The Houston Farmers Market
The Houston Farmers Market is a 17.5-acre property located in the North Heights area. Vendors sell their goods from stalls and tables 7 days a week, 363 days out of the year. Unique products including an assortment of produce, herbs, and spices draw daily crowds.
On July 14, 1941, 500 regional farmers established the Farmer’s Cooperative Marketing Association of Houston. Over the decades, the market expanded and its culture evolved. In May 2017, MLB Capital Partners purchased the Houston Farmers Market from The Farmers’ Marketing Association of Houston. Over the next three years, MLB Capital Partners will transform the market into a destination retail experience offering renovated facilities, more diversified products, and community programming with the goal of creating value for its vendors and guests.
